The October statistics are better but I still see slowing. Inventory is increasing, Listings under contract is decreasing but the other stats are OK as far as I am concerned. So you ask, Barry what do you see?

I see a big problem coming with Obamacare that will cause money to be pulled out of the economy, and higher medical Insurance for most of those that will not get, almost or mostly free insurance, paid by the people making over, my guess is $30,000. It will cost more per month for those that already had insurance, but look out for the Minimum deductible that you will have to pay before your insurance kicks in. I see a figure of $10,000 for families, out of pocket before most will see help from their Government Insurance. Believe me it is government insurance. Do not get a major sickness!

The other shoe to drop if it is not fixed, will be the companies that got a year extension before they have to go into the program. Many of them will be dropping their company coverage for their employees which will put you in the same sinking boat the individuals are in as outlined above. The companies will pay the penalty that will allow them to survive. But what did Obamacare do for you? I will let you figure that out as I know what is coming.

Do not get me wrong I think the idea was good, but not the way it was constructed. The Law is bad, as written. If you doubt me just ask the 10-14 Democratic Senators that want the President to do something to extend everything beyond the next election in 2014, so they do not have to explain why they voted for this catastrophe that is coming in the next 3-12 months, if left as is. Special interests have already gotten their extension, or outright not having to be in the program (Congress).

We have all been struggling these past 5-6 years and I am getting tired of what we are getting. Nothing!!! Time for a REAL change not the lies we get.

Rates are still under 4.5% and prices are just barely increasing so give some thought to a home for yourself, or an Investment property. I am here to help you and we can manage that property if you keep it on the East side. See you next month with our continuing Obamacare (he owns it) problem.
