Tucson MLS Statistics March 2013

I am glad to say the housing market is starting to improve with all statistics going in a positive direction for March. I said last month that if we see a continued improvement from February that it would be a good thing for housing. Our Economy is still dragging but we are seeing some improvement. Inventory decreased some and will help keep prices increasing for at least a few months. As prices increase and the Short Sales and Foreclosures decrease we will see a more steady market with real Sellers putting their homes on the market.

I live in Vail and there are three new Subdivisions coming out of the ground on Mary Ann Cleveland and I have seen some others on the South and Southwest side starting up or finishing up a previous Subdivision. There are some good buys in new homes and I can help you purchase a new home so you have someone in your corner.

Looks like we may see an official budget within the next 2-3 months if all goes well. We need a lot of improvement in the Economy and raising taxes has not accomplished that. Small business is afraid to hire if they can get by for now. The added costs of an employee that the employer has to pay, and the unknown of Obummer Care will keep hiring down until it makes sense to the business to hire. Right now it does not make sense unless it really means more to the business to have that next employee.

My advice to you is keep saving if you have a job, and pay for what you purchase and keep those credit card balances low. I think some of the best credit cards are through our local Credit Unions. I am a member of three and see some very good rates on credit. But it is much better to pay as you go.

I have decided to not say much more that I wanted to say, and that may be best for me not to say much for now. We need a whole new Government that is for the people and not just their party. I have new admiration for Ron Barber as a person so I will be watching him to see if he stays that way. He does not follow party lines but watches out for the people that elected him.

If I can help you purchase a Resale or New home please contact me and we can talk.
